In October, our mascot Falky celebrates his birthday and everyone joins in. Our hotels have their own birthday entertainment programme for our little guests, but you can also celebrate a unique Falky party at home. Organise an unforgettable party for your kids with Falky highlights and lovely details. With our tips and tricks, a successful party is guaranteed!
The right decoration
For the right Falky decoration, the motto is: Colorful and the more, the better! There are no limits to your imagination. We serve colourful napkins with the cake, and colourful balloons spread around the room create a real party atmosphere. And there’s something else we can tell you about Falky: Our mascot loves confetti!
For those who want to create a real eye-catcher, we explain step by step how to create a Falky garland.
Materials:
- Coloured paper
- 1 A4 sheet white
- Glue
- Scissors
- Ruler
- String
- Pencil
- Decoration as you like
Step-by-step instructions:
- Draw an isosceles triangle of the desired size on the white paper and cut it out.
- Fold the coloured paper in the middle, place the white triangle template on top, trace and cut out. Repeat this step several times.
- The colourful triangles can be decorated as desired, for example with a Falky motif, glitter stones or individual drawings.
- Finally, glue the triangles in colourful order to the string and hang up the garland.
The right entertainment programme
A real birthday party also includes lots of games to keep the party guests properly entertained. Thank goodness Falky loves all party classics and especially music, because it always puts everyone in a good mood. Turn up the Falky Song loud and start dancing like crazy until the music stops. The last person to stand still or shake a bit is eliminated. The winner is the last person left standing.

The right Snack
It doesn’t always have to be a big cake, but no party should be without something sweet. In keeping with his birthday month, Falky loves pumpkin more than anything and in any form. One of his favourite recipes are pumpkin cookies: a perfect snack for in between!
Ingredients:
- 50 grams vegan dark chocolate
- 60 grams coconut oil
- 80 grams cane sugar
- 220 grams spelt flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch of ground cardamom
- 1 pinch of ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 120 grams pumpkin puree
Preparation:
- Chop the chocolate and set aside
- Mix coconut oil with cane sugar
- Add the flour and baking powder
- Add the spices and 1 pinch of salt and mix well
- Stir in the pumpkin puree
- Now fold in the chopped chocolate
- Take one tablespoon of dough at a time and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press down a little.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C (convection 160°C) for 10-12 minutes.
- Leave to cool and taste.
