Jungle Bird – Tiki Signature Cocktail Jesolo

Fruity cocktails in particular exude a summery mood: reason enough to introduce you to one of our two new signature cocktails from the sunny south today. When Italian passion meets Hawaii’s colorful joie de vivre, the result is an exciting crossover that promises pure enjoyment. Cheers!

After an extensive upgrade of the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo, international splendor is returning to the Adriatic. At the new Hoku Restaurant & Bar (in Hawaiian, ‘rising star in the sky‘), gourmets here enjoy exciting á la carte sharing fusion cuisine, including exceptional cocktail culture, accompanied by lounge music, right by the sea. But first, you can let the myth of our ‘Jungle Bird’ take you on a little journey of thoughts:

Tiki, the son of two Hawaiian deities, felt bored on his small tropical island. Longing had crept into his heart and he slowly couldn’t see any more flower shirts with the Bermudas – he had long since had enough of his parents’ matchmaking attempts with hula girls anyway. So the young god gathered all his courage and set off for Europe, where all that really interested him was waiting for him: Italian fashion and Italian men. After seeing Milan Fashion Week and riding around Rome on a Vespa, he unexpectedly ended up in a little beach bar in Jesolo, where love was waiting for him. The bit of Italian Tiki had taught himself disappeared in his excitement and he literally introduced himself as a ‘Tropical Bird’. The bartender’s charming laugh broke the ice in no time and the rest of this love story is history. He created the cocktail ‘Jungle Bird’, which tastes as tingly as fresh infatuation in honor of his exotic gigolo.

How it’s done:
  • 4 cl dark rum
  • 2 cl Campari
  • 1 cl Simple Syrup
  • 4 cl pineapple juice
  • 1 cl lime juice

Maraschino cherry
Pineapple slice
Ice cube

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and pour into a nice glass.

Garnish with fruit and fill up with ice.
