Non-alcoholic indulgence for hot days

A South Tyrolean through and through, she embodies the "Dolce Vita" lifestyle like no other. Far away from pizza, pasta and aperitifs, her energy knows no bounds. Her happy dances on the beach, on the mountain or in Falkyland are infectious.

Especially now that warmer days are coming and you can enjoy the sun outdoors, we like to extend the pleasure with an aperitif or a beer. But you can also bring the vacation feeling home with a delicious cocktail without alcohol. For this, bartender Sem from the Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz has revealed his favorites and whispered the recipes to us.

So, dear connoisseurs, pay attention! You will find our three favorite non-alcoholic cocktails in this text. Try them out and bring the Falkensteiner vacation flair home!

1) YOKOSO

ALL YOU NEED:
  • 60 ml apple juice
  • 1 ml jasmine syrup
  • 60 ml soda
  • One dried apple ring
HOW YOU DO:

Take the cocktail glass and fill it with ice cubes, then add all the other ingredients and mix well with a spoon.

Decorate the mix with a dried apple ring et voilà – the Yokoso is ready!

Our extra tip: The Yokoso is a super delicious aperitif alternative. Serve it with antipasti and you are guaranteed to score points with your guests!

2) BeSonder MULE

ALL YOU NEED:
  • 60 ml BeSonder ginger
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • 60 ml ginger ale
  • One mule cup
  • One lime slice
HOW YOU DO:

Mix all the ingredients except the ginger ale in the mule cup. Add the ice cubes and mix everything well. Then add the ginger ale and you’re done.

Our extra tip: The non-alcoholic version of the popular Moscow Mule not only tastes at least as good as the original but is also super refreshing. Especially in spring and summer, when it gets warmer outside, it serves wonderfully as a cooling!

3) BeSonder  GIN & TONIC

ALL YOU NEED:
  • 60 ml Siegfried Wonderleaf Gin 0.0%
  • 10 ml Aronia Ginger BeSonder
  • 1000 ml Tonic Water Fevertree
  • A Gin Baloon glass
HOW YOU DO:

Take the glass and add ice cubes, the gin as well as the chokeberry juice. Mix it all well and then add the tonic water. A dried orange slice is especially good for decorating.

An extra dose of insider knowledge: Have you already tried the alcohol-free gin from Siegfried Wonderleaf? We think the genesis of this “gin” is unique: what was supposed to be just an April Fool’s joke at the beginning took two years to turn into reality.

And for hot summer days, this gin variant is particularly suitable, because it is very refreshing and has one advantage on top: the next day there is no headache, should you still drink a second or third glass! 😉
