Vita notturna e shopping a Jesolo

Jesolo is one of the Italian resorts that welcome the most tourists throughout the year, and it is also one of the best-known towns on the Adriatic Riviera, not just on the Veneto coast. This makes it a magical place, full of services and life that teems in every corner and on every street. Living in Jesolo means immersing yourself in a real experience made up of many Italian elements, from the cuisine (we recommend you visit Hoku Restaurant & Lounge Bar at our Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo, with Italian modern and Japanese cuisine, serving also tiki cocktails on the terrace) to the physical activities you can do both outdoors and indoors, in the name of a Mediterranean and healthy lifestyle.

But in this article, we want to talk about two very important elements that make up this tricolor jigsaw puzzle, which also appeals to foreigners: nightlife and shopping. Jesolo is vibrant and cheerful, elegant and carefree. Jesolo is a city open to new trends, capable of capturing the present and offering it as a status symbol in the windows of its countless shops, or in the evenings of its fashionable clubs since the Dolce Vita period.

Let’s start with the nightlife

A city completely overlooking the sea, with one of the most beautiful promenades on the Adriatic, could only be dotted with kiosks. The kiosks are typically Italian: from Sicily to Veneto, each one offers, depending on the location, typical local sodas, and Selz, as well as every kind of drink imaginable. The same is true in Jesolo, where the kiosks are meeting points for both locals and visitors. Open almost all hours, you’ll always find someone to chat to.

The unfailing Italian ritual of the aperitivo is also enjoyed every day in Jesolo. At Capannina Beach in Piazza Mazzini, it is particularly beautiful and engaging, with music and DJs to cheer up the lively evenings of the patrons. The Marina Club with its open-air spaces has an exclusive and intriguing atmosphere, like a real open-air nightclub where it is also pleasant to dine. Fresh, young and bubbly is Hierbas: here too you can dine in a beautiful garden and then spend the night with friends. Terrazza Mare is another nice place on the beach, where young people like to have an aperitif and then spend the evening in company. And then … who does not know the famous disco Il Muretto? Important international DJs come here, and the evenings are always memorable. A must for those who love to dance and let themselves be carried away by the most contemporary rhythms.

Shopping tips? We have lots!

Shopping is a must in Jesolo. The town offers many streets reserved for the best brands of clothing, jewelry, footwear, and other goods, presenting a truly complete panorama for those who love to shop. Via Bafile, Jesolo’s shopping street is a large open-air shopping center with 13 km entirely dedicated to shopping. It is a long shopping street where it is impossible not to get caught up in the glamorous atmosphere that still smells of Dolce Vita.

More than 1000 shops, dozens of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, shop windows, commercial spaces, and markets of all kinds. This is the essence of a street that is unique in the world, showcasing “made in Italy” products and the best of international fashion. There is something for all tastes and trends: for young people, families, and sports enthusiasts.

For lovers of high-level shopping, we recommend the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Noventa di Piave, a real shopping citadel with streets and squares entirely dedicated to shops. There are numerous brands, from sportswear to high fashion, as well as restaurants, bars, and wine bars. Of course, the many single-brand shops of the best Italian and international fashion brands are the stars of the show, where you can buy last season’s collections at bargain prices.

Among the various shops in the city we suggest Hot Stuff, where sporty is always trendy, Tandem, for casual is always elegant, Internoventi Store, with lively clothes of beautiful collections, Ottica Borin, for glasses always fashionable, Burato Gioielli for jewelry and watches.
In nearby Venice, a tour in Calle Larga XXII Marzo is highly recommended, with all the shops of the biggest brands in the fashion industry.

This brief guide is certainly not exhaustive, as an entire website could be dedicated to shopping in Jesolo. But it’s a great starting point for your lagoon experience.
