The breeze has never been more tempting! And in our Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala, the whole of August is full of events that can be classified into three categories – sports, family, and concerts. The sports evenings on Tuesdays will especially delight young and old guests, given that the Olympic Games are underway, further warming the atmosphere and encouraging the competitive spirit. Families can show their sports talent and perseverance and win valuable prizes from volleyball, basketball, football, and padel to mini golf and badminton. Those who are less active can enjoy the cinema under the stars on Wednesdays, while Thursday is again reserved for entertainment, and we invite only the little ones to it.
The Sunset Cruise excursion adds a romantic touch to our guests’ vacation experience, organized as part of the Summer Breeze Festival every Thursday from 7 p.m. when the private boat departs from the Hideout bar dock. This intimate adventure offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city and allows guests to soak up the region’s natural beauty and rich history in a tranquil and luxurious setting.
The hideout bar is the setting for another unforgettable experience scheduled for August 15. It is the Dalmatian Street Flavours Fest, an event that combines gastronomic delights, top drinks, creative exhibitors, and top entertainment with live music. Squid, mussels, fish, olive oil, and wines await guests there. The experience accompanies sunset, followed by the gentle breeze of a perfect evening with pleasant music.
Music marks the entire Summer Breeze in August because that’s when the festival peaks, with concerts to remember!
On August 1, guests can enjoy the hits of the globally popular group ABBA performed by the ABBA Real Tribute Band. Under a clear sky and with the sound of waves, guests will be able to enjoy hits like “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” “Super Trouper,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “S.O.S.,” and “Fernando.” The original costume design and dance choreography will give the whole experience an additional touch.
On August 8, guests awaits a special homage to the musical legends of the world pop and rock music scene at the Fortis Club with the talented musicians behind the name SuperstarShow.
The most romantic concert will take place on August 22, when, along with a superb dinner on the terrace of our Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera, the opera divas Nela and Nera will perform their phenomenal Movie Soundtrack Opera concert accompanied by piano and violin. The guests will experience musical hits from some of the world’s most popular films in a completely new guise during performances by top, academically educated vocalists.
A touch of the local experience will be provided to the guests by the performance of Big Band Šibenik in a musical evening with a fairytale beach, a starry sky, and waves as backing vocals. In addition to superb musical performances and interpretations, their specialty is to transport listeners to another place and another era such as the era of musical greats like Bart Blakey, Herbie Hancock, Wynton and Branford Marsalis, Tony Williams and Pharoah Sanders.
The concert programme, as well as the entire Summer Breeze Festival, ends on September 5 with the performance of the QUEEN Tribute Band, which will slowly bid farewell to summer and awaken nostalgia for one of the golden ages of world music.
More than 60 days of fun and a series of activities for all generations – all this adorns the traditional Sea Summer Festival at Premium Camping Zadar. And the perfect summer party is guaranteed, first, with a rich music programme – Monday is reserved for rock, Tuesday for jazz. On Fridays, guests warm up for going out with a pleasant acoustic concert accompanied by a delicious dinner at the A More restaurant. One of the slogans of the festival is ‘something for everyone’, considering that the programme also includes perfect gastronomic evenings and a fun pool party.
At the Sea Summer Festival, everything is about family! This is precisely why the entertainment repertoire includes special animation programmes for children and their parents. During the last three Sundays in August, the whole family can participate in the exciting story of the magician Magic Rico. This cute magician has already shown his tricks at many street festivals, so it is not surprising that he is considered one of the most skilled in his job.
Is there anything more fun than enjoying a show that little ones have only seen on television until now? One of such is certainly the Fire Show, which combines art, rhythm, and spectacle in the wonderful setting of the camp. Entertainment is also guaranteed with movie nights under the stars, which are reserved for blockbusters such as Elvis, Encanto, Wonka, and Cruella in August.
