Oh, you wonderful Advent season. When it gets really cold outside, we cozy up inside – preferably with tea or cocoa and lots of cookies, of course! Especially in the pre-Christmas period, people like to snack, because there are more than enough temptations in December. In addition to homemade delicacies from the home bakery, St. Nicholas usually also brings numerous treats – together with the daily haul from the Advent calendar, children, in particular, can sometimes literally drown in chocolate. To avoid the sugar shock as far as possible, we have thought about what would be a healthier alternative to the conventional sweet tooth. It should be colorful and look appealing, and taste good anyway! Here is a small selection of snacks suitable for children, which can be given away without a guilty conscience.

Sweet things are always popular with little and big kids – in our search for high-quality substitute products that can be added to Advent calendars and St. Nicholas bags, we found what we were looking for in drugstores. DM, Bipa or Müller carry many organic brands that taste good and even contain vitamins: Freche Freunde, Mogli, Fruchtbar, 3 Bears as well as Billa Bio and mymuesli are some of them. However, the range is of course much wider and there are thus no limits to healthy snacking!
