Of course, the holiday programme for our younger guests is also written in BIG letters at Falkensteiner.
There is a lot to discover, animation around the clock, as well as holiday camps and numerous sporting opportunities. Boredom on holiday? Not a chance! The focus is always on nature, child-oriented science, creativity, sports and of course fun & games. The varied animation programme for our Falkys (from three to six years) & Falkons (from seven to 12 years) is based on this.
Edutainment & Ecotainment – what does that mean?
Many of the animation concepts are based on edutainment and ecotainment. Sounds exciting, but what exactly do we mean by this? Edutainment is derived from “education” and “entertainment”. Educational activities are playfully integrated into the animation, the children learn new things and are allowed to let off steam creatively, and of course fun always comes first. “Ecotainment” also combines different terms: ecology, the environment, and entertainment. In this concept, the sustainability factor is also included in the animation programme, depending on the hotel with a special focus on its location and particular environmental conditions. The combination of these two concepts guarantees an exciting holiday in which a lot of new things are experienced and learned, while at the same time entertainment, fun and games together with other children always come first.

As Falkensteiner Rangers, the kids learn to protect and enrich the environment in which they spend their holidays. Depending on the age group, the Falkensteiner Rangers are allowed to get to know, appreciate and protect nature on the basis of the Edutaiment and Ecotainment concepts. The programme is implemented in a playful way according to the age. Parents are not neglected either and can learn from the little ones. Workshops, themed hikes and puzzle rallies strengthen family cohesion and once again bring the environment to the fore during the holiday.
Academies & Holiday Camps: HOLIDAYS ARE SUPER, BUT HOLIDAY CAMPS ARE BETTER!
In the various academies and holiday camps, children can let off steam during their holidays. Sporty Falkys & Falkons can prove themselves in football, tennis, cheerleading, riding and climbing academies. For all young footballers, the football camps in cooperation with the professional clubs Hannover 96, FK Austria Wien and Cagliari Calcio are a chance to get even closer to the big dream of becoming a professional footballer. Real water rats learn how to become even faster under water in individual swimming courses, while they learn how to sweep across the water as fast as possible in sailing courses. With so much to choose from, it’s hard to decide which activity is right for you. The good thing is: you can come back next year and try something new 😉
As fun and action-packed as during the day, the programme continues in the evening. While the parents enjoy a sundowner or two, the children’s disco is the place to be. A visit from Falky himself and cool choreographies to the hottest summer hits are on the entertainment programme.
