The most beautiful beaches near the Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi

Today we want to dedicate this article to the sea in Sardinia and more specifically to the most beautiful beaches that you can enjoy while staying at our Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi.

Sardinia is a popular summer holiday destination and the reason why is quite obvious to everyone: delicious typical food, centuries-old traditions, magnificent hinterland, but above all unique beaches and sea! The beauty of the Sardinian sea, its crystal-clear deep blue makes anyone lucky enough to spend a holiday in this wonderful land fall in love with it.

Capo Boi

The Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi is located in Villasimius, in the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area. This area stretches from Capo Boi to Punta Porceddues and is a marvellous area with varied and incredibly beautiful stretches of coastline. Flora and fauna grow luxuriant here and are equally beautiful and rich: from pink flamingos to lobsters to dolphins.

Staying at the Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi, you will have access to the beach of the same name and the best part is that you can enjoy so much beauty without even having to move from the hotel!

Porto Giunco

Just over a quarter of an hour from the resort is the Porto Giunco Beach, a beach with fine, light-coloured sand, enclosed between the Notteri pond and the azure blue sea, and for this reason it is also known as the ‘Beach of the Two Seas’. A further special feature of this beach that makes it unique is that it is famous for the pink flamingos that populate the pond. This is certainly one of the most beautiful and well-known beaches not only in Sardinia but also in the whole of Italy.

This beach is very suitable for families because its seabed slopes very gently, so you can walk for dozens and dozens of metres and still enjoy the shallow water. In addition, there are several stretches of free beach and a lifeguard service at sea.

Punta Molentis

Twenty minutes away from the Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi is the beautiful and picturesque beach of Punta Molentis. This beach is a true spectacle of nature: crystal-clear waters surrounded by a wild and fascinating landscape. Definitely not the usual beach you are used to. On one side, the thin line of beach consists of sand and on the other of rocks, all surrounded by a thousand shades of blue. But that is not all. In fact, framing the beach is lush green nature. This mix of materials, textures and colours makes this beach unique: a true work of art.

Precisely to preserve the beauty that characterises this little gem and to let bathers enjoy the beach while avoiding excessive confusion, since last April the beach has only been accessible by reservation. You can find more information on the official website of the municipality of Villasimius.

Porto Sa Ruxi

Very close to the hotel, only three minutes away, we find the Porto Sa Ruxi beach. Once again, this is a beach of extraordinary beauty: consisting of three coves with a half-moon profile, fine white sand, crystal-clear sea and a marvellous contrast of colours given not only by the sand and sea, but also by rocks, junipers, maritime pines and fragrant myrtle bushes.

The shallow water and the shelter that the hills behind offer from the mistral wind make the beach suitable for families and children, but also for those who wish to dive and snorkel.

In short, for lovers of the sea, Sardinia is a must-see destination. The beaches that can be visited and the beauty they are able to offer are truly many. But Sardinia is not only beaches. This wonderful land really has a lot to offer and we will be happy to show it to you. In the meantime, if you are looking forward to a holiday in our magnificent resort and would like to get an idea of the most beautiful attractions in addition to those we have mentioned today, we recommend you visit this page.
